This is Nate with some of his best buddies, (left to right) Josh, Dallin and Ethan. We went out to Murrieta last week to visit the Sweetnam's during our Christmas break. They all played so well together and had such a blast. The girls, Kaylee, Ashley, Olivia, and Kenyon were planning a sleepover without first consulting the Moms. It didn't happen, but boy did they beg!!

This is as "fall" as it gets in Southern California. We are lucky for such great weather. It was 58 degrees that day- cold for here. I could actually were a sweater for once without sweating to death.

In our dinner prayer tonight Nathan asked a special blessing for "Aunt Nan and Grandma Pam to make it safely and that they won't get attacked by wild animals on the way". He also said something funny about the kitchen sink's drain stopper. "This is incredible"- as if he had never seen anything like it before. He is so funny.

Shelly and Scott, your family is growing up and you're doing a great job of parenting them! Thank you for sharing these special photos and news of the fun and memorable activities you enjoyed in December and last year.

Have a special and delightful visit with your Mom, Grandma Lauralee this week. . . I'll be in San Diego on the 8th and 9th, sightseeing before leaving on an LDS singles'cruise to Cabo San Lucas on April 10-15. Justin's family is spending the 7th to 10th there and we'll get to do some activities together!

Have a wonderful spring, Roses! Wish we could get together more often. Any chance you could come for the Hadfield Reunion in Grouse Creek this July 16-17 or our Bastow Reunion the first weekend of August?

Love you truly,
Aunt Aleen and Family

Hi Shelly Rose!

I just joined a Korea Taejon mission group on Facebook and started thinking about way back then . . . I started googling people and actually found you! Cute family! I also have three kids, similar ages as yours, I think? Joel (2002), Eli (2005) and Cara (2007). We live in the DC area and have been here since 2000. Life is good.
