O.k. so it's doing it again. I went on here to add a picture for Collins birthday and something won't allow it on my computer.

Happy birthday to Collin anyway! I can't believe that it has been a year since he was born!! Time goes by way to fast. He is our sweet little Collin. We can't imagine not having him in our family. I'll try to add some pictures later. I need to join some computer hacking club or something.

So, I wasn't able to add any pictures for a while, but thanks to Craig I am up and running again. THANK YOU CRAIG. What would we do without you?

September 2nd, 2008

This is Nathan on his first day of pre-school. We got into this great program with one of the local schools and several of my freinds have sent their kids here. One of his best freinds Ethan Todd goes with him. On his first day he was a champ. He ran in the room, started playing, and didn't look back. Every morning when he wakes up he asks if he has school. We only go on Tuesday and Thursday. He always comments on the songs that they sing and the games that they play. Those seem to be his favorite things that they do. The other picture is of him with Ethan and their teacher Mrs. G.

This is Kenyon on her first day of school. She is now in second grade! I can hardly believe it. She is so big. School is going well for her. We had a little adjustment period while we were figuring out the homework situation. It takes us at least one hour a day to complete. That doesn't include the 2o minutes of reading time! It is a tough regimend, but I do think that this school distirct is great. She is learning so much and seems to love it. Her teacher is fun and a little wacky and Kenyon likes it that way. It goes along with the silly personalities in our family.

In the photo up top (I don't know how to add a picture in this spot) notice the earings. Kenyon got her ears pierced for her 7th birthday. She still asks me if different people know that she got her ears peirced. It is hilarious. She went with 3 of her little girl friends. One girl cried, two were brave and the other went outside and threw up afterwards. Luckily the latter was not Kenyon. She was a brave one and was pleasantly surprised. I will post some birthday pictures and the ear piercing picutres later.

Turkey anyone? Collin is ready for Thanksgiving with his mini turkey. If only he would like real food. Hmm one day I will get him to eat something besides cheerios. He is constantly amusing us. Kenyon and Nate can't get enough of him- although he gets his fill of them when they get too close. He always wants them around just not in his face. He will be one in 4 days. I can not believe it!

May 2008

Nathan wanted to be in the sea and he wanted everyone to know how big this puzzle was. We have been doing lots of puzzles lately. It keeps us occupied and that's a good thing. Collin likes to eat the peices and slap the top of the puzzle while we are doing it.

I like to call this one of Collin the Jibber Jabber Jumper. Today (May, 10, 2008) he started talking and making all sorts of noises. Ma ma ma and da da da. And then he also likes to make high pitched shreeking noises. No doubt he is trying to keep up with the other kids and their screams.
I

Kenyon made this at school. At her open house we went into the classroom and at each desk there was a hand made animal sitting in the chair with each student's picture attached to the face. Kenyon picked a lion. It was very cute and we enjoyed it for quite some time. We decided to dispose of it but had to photograph it of course.

This is a video of Collin from the beginning of April. He is all over the place now, but this is how it all started.

Nathan had a busy day at Grandma Pam's house. He was so busy being "Dango Man" (danger) that he fell asleep with his goggles on. His quote of the day was "I am Danger Man. I need my goggles so that I can have good eye suction (meaning eye sight)". He is always so animated. We get a good laugh daily.

We attended a baptism for a girl in our ward and he really wanted to wear the goggles into the church. HILARIOUS

These are my two little daytime buddies. Come fall Nate will be starting pre-school right across the street from our church. He is very excited and (needless to say) so am I.

3-09-08 It was the first day of the Mega Saucer and boy oh boy does he love it. Thank you to the Streiff's who let Collin borrow it!! It gives me a good 20 minutes to get ready for the day.

3-11-08 Collin is now rolling over from back to tummy. It is quite funny to watch. He gets his whole body into it.

Silly Kenyon and Collin 3-07-08

Collin decided to do everything while Scott was in China. Stop sleeping at night, rolling over from tummy to back, and grabbing his toes. 2-17-08

2-07-08 Collin loves to blow bubbles and sit in his springy chair. Thank goodness for all of the baby gadgets out there.

At this point in Collins life he was sleeping through the night. I only say was because a week later Scott went to China for business and we all got sick and his sleep schedule never went back to normal (normal being asleep at 8 awake at 7). So you ask- why is Shelly adding this post at 11:00 p.m.? Who knows.

We went to the Children's museum in La Habra. Nate was the only one who would pose with the blue cow. Elliott is driving the "real bus".

Elliott and Nathan took on the roll of our own shepard and king. Lookin good guys!!

Scott and Collin @ Christmas 12-26-07
It's about time for some posts. My email
is down and this is the way for all to see what
has been going on with us. I'll start getting
fancy one day, but until then enjoy the photos!

December 23rd, 2007- We were lucky to have Grandma Lauralee and Spencer in town for Collin's blessing. Pam and Bob were there as were Craig, Carly and Elliott, but they had to leave right after the blessing.
