We just celebrated Kenyon's 9th birthday on Saturday! We invited a few of her closest friends over for "movies, munchies, and a makeover". They started with a little karaoke, then pizza, treats, and watched a movie while they had their nails, hair, and makeup done. It was a fun party with just the girls. We kicked the boys out for the evening.

This was Kenyon's last game for the season. It ended with a tie. Because it was a tournament game they had a shoot-out. It is sort of hard to see, but Kenyon scored one of the shoot-out goals. Two of her other teammates had gone before her, both scoring. Before her, the other team missed their shot, and after her goal, they missed too! So, in the end, hers was the kick that won the game for the team. Needless to say, it was quite the moment for her. She really has become a good little soccer player.
She just finished a week long soccer camp and loved it. The soccer organization flies in players from England to teach the camp. I could have been entertained all day just listening to them talk! (they were pretty good at soccer too)

Man, I'm a slacker on the blog. I guess that I'm just not cut out for raising 3 kids and blogging!! Now facebook? What next?
At our house, the three things that we talk about are.... trains, soccer, and play dates. So, I thought that I would include some of them on this update.
This house in Riverside has the whole backyard and garage made into a model train display. They open it to the public only a few weekends a year. It is pretty spectacular and Collin was in heaven there!
